How to Harvest Trees on Residential Properties

You have thirty days from your date of enrollment to complete this course.

The trees on your property have the potential to be much more than wood chips or firewood - the fate awaiting most trees removed from residential properties. Your trees might become flooring, siding, furniture, structure, shelving or any number of other lasting contributions to your property or your family.

We’ll start our journey with harvesting a tree on a residential property so we can discuss identifying good candidates for harvesting, finding a tree company and a processor.

We’ll continue with a review of the handling, transportation and processing/milling issues to consider.

We’ll conclude our meeting with a discussion about what to expect from your processor or mill.

What could your trees become? They might be much more valuable than you assume!
